Hi, I’m Bill Meyer, owner of Meyer Insurance Agency in Shawano, Wisconsin.

I’ve been in the insurance business for more than 30 years, and during that time I’ve helped individuals, seniors, and families make some pretty important decisions about their insurance and financial protection.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that insurance doesn’t have to be complicated.

My job isn’t to pressure you into buying something. It’s to listen, understand what you need, explain your options in plain English, and help you make a decision that makes sense for you.

Why I Became an Independent Agent

Being an independent insurance agent allows me to work with multiple insurance companies rather than being tied to just one.

That’s important to me because everyone’s situation is different. The company or plan that works well for one person may not be the right choice for someone else.

I want my clients to have options.

Wisconsin Is Home

I’m proud to be a Wisconsin-based independent insurance agent serving Shawano and communities throughout Wisconsin.

Outside of work, I’m an outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, boating, and spending time with my family and our dogs.

At 70, I still enjoy what I’ve enjoyed throughout my career — meeting people, solving problems, and helping families protect the things they’ve worked hard for.
